“This is a well conceived and thoughtfully worked out treatise, and it is presented in a musical and literate language that works! An excellent method book."

Ian McDougall, Professor Emeritus, Univ. of Victoria, BC

“I was advised by others that ear training was too challenging a concept for high school. By introducing the ear training system set up by Mr. Paul Landsberg, my students have flourished in their musical studies, have gained admission to higher musical education facilities and have been complimented on their ability to 'hear' the sounds around them with a greater degree of accuracy. I would highly recommend his system to any musician or teacher. Paul provides a realistic context through his ear-training method that is both interesting and informative."

A.J. Dowla Port Moody Secondary School

Hear It Sing It Write It is a cleverly graduated method that makes ear training a breeze. The books are engaging, practical, and straightforward; the accompanying practice CD’s are worth their intellectual weight in gold.”

R.M., Minneapolis, MN

“the content is concise and arranged in a way that makes sense. The included CD’s are a great addition and can help make ear training available anywhere. “Hear It Sing It Write It” has been a valuable resource in my musical development."

S. D., Castlegar, BC

The Hear It Sing It Write It Ear Training Method has been invaluable for teaching my college ear training classes. It has made classes easier to teach and the materials are all relevant to what students need as 21st century musicians. After completing the four books my students are able to read and transcribe just about anything including complex polyrhythms and chromatic melodies. I highly recommend this method.”

Don MacDonald Music Instructor, Selkirk College, Nelson, BC

"The "Hear It, Sing It, Write It" books are invaluable tools to develop any musician's ear. They are easy to use, very practical, and have excelent value that truly, will stand th test of time."

P.J., Vancouver, BC

"Paul's method of ear training is a fantastic, step-by-step course. It is highly intuitive and no matter your level, it will teach you to hear, sing, and write music."

O.M., Vernon, BC

"The transition from the first book to the last is seamlss. Going from a beginner to an expert is simple, even for those with no previous ear training experience. Real life musical examples are given for each step along the way and there's more than enough practice material to stretch past your previous musical abilities. The books not only helped me improve on my own musical instrument, they allowed me to learn other instruments easily as well."

D.V., Saskatoon, SK

"I worked with Paul Landsberg's "Hear It, Sing It, Write It" course and wow! I had played by ear all my life but didn't realize how much difficulty I was having discerning simple melodic lines and chords. By the end of book one, I was able to listen to any note, including sharps and flats and instantly say what not it was in relation to the root. I was also able to easily hear and name complex chords and progressions. It was amazing how quicky I advanced and how enoyable the course was. Paul has really hit on something special here. I highly recommend it."

C.K., Calgary, AB

"His listening CD makes practicing at home easy and inexcusable! The lessons are exemplified in a variety of genres, makig it easy to apply ear training in practical every day use no matter what you play. Paul's method has helped my sight reading, my writing and my listening skills!"

B.L., Boston, MA

"An essential resource for music students. These books are clear, practical and a "must have" for any serious musician. The most complete (method or ear training books) out there! Paul's books are really helping me hear my way through music."
